Some times the world just has a way of surprising you with the most wonderful people. Shea and I met last year over some of the most delicious tea chai lattes (that are now our staple), we talked about marriage, family, weddings and who knows what else. This girl was just simply electric, I loved her right away! Over the past few months we have been getting together to get all the final details of her wedding day together, Shea was clearly very close with her friends and family and wanted everyone to feel included in her and Justin’s big day. A few weeks before the wedding I went to her house and we sorted through an entire dining room table of childhood photos of her and Justin growing up and finally meetings, going to college, getting engaged and then BOOM all of a sudden her wedding day was HERE!
The Ryan Nicholas Inn was the perfect backdrop for the day Shea and Justin wanted. It was grand, and elegant with lots of space for family and friends to gather and socialize. The girls arrived bright and early for Shea’s mom’s “Bridal Bootcamp” where she had all the ladies burning some last minute calories before the beautification and princess pampering began! While all of her girls waited anxiously outside, Shea took a quiet moment with one of her very best friends, her mom, to put on her wedding dress, it was so amazing to see all of Shea’s details come to life (and wow she looked so amazing in that dress!!). We met Justin outside for a first look that was so touching and awaited the arrival of the pre-ceremony guest of honor, Ollie, their adorable pup! Guests started to arrive and Shea went into her hiding spot to patiently waiting to marry her one and only. The ceremony was so sweet, listening to letters they wrote to each other and the well wishes from Danielle Baker as she pronounced them Husband and Wife!!
The night continued on with with a lot of dancing and laughter, including a VERY well done choreographed first dance (Justin your moves were impressive). We ended with a beautiful sparkler exit between the inn’s beautiful nightscape …. I can’t believe the day has come and gone, but Ed and I are so thankful to now call you guys FRIENDS and we were honored to capture your wedding day! XOXO
