Bringing home a newborn is unlike any other moment in life. It can be emotional, chaotic, and joyous all at once. My photos aim to be timeless keepsakes to remember the quiet moments in between the chaos, and the instant connection of a baby with family.
Whether your story starts with a chapter of pregnancy or siblings, early steps or birthday balloons, its important to capture the moments of motherhood as you start to create a childhood for your kids.

The anticipation of the next chapter, maternity sessions are captured between 32-38 weeks in-home or on location.
Sessions are for capturing the miracle of pregnancy (even if you are one who doesn't particularly love being pregnant) and a snippet of your family during this time. Portraits with other family members are also included with mama's portraits.

Maternity Session
NEXT: fresh forty-eight
A fresh 48 session is captured while you are still in the hospital or birthing location which is normally somewhere in the first forty-eight hours. Sessions are relaxed and meant to capture those first precious hours with a new baby or meeting an older sibling. I take special care to allow time for nurse checks or visitors and aim to keep parents as comfortable as possible while navigating their new family!

NEXT: HOME NEWBORN SESSION
Done in the comforts of home, a newborn session is both laid-back and classic. I aim to get all of the classic portraits of each family member with the new baby and capture the moments in between. Being at home it is easy to pause for feedings, outfit changes (some not by choice) and have all the necessary things within reach. The newborn days are fleeting, and foggy, and home sessions really bring them into focus.

There is nothing like the first year, the cliche is unavoidable because it does fly by. Milestone sessions are a way to document this tremendous growth and change across the first year and are best planned around milestone like, pushing up around 4 months, sitting after 6-7 months and pulling up approaching that first birthday. Sessions can be done at home or on-location outdoors.

Like a real actual phone call... You've thoroughly combed through my website, blog and Instagram feed and you like what you see. So the next step is setting up a time to chat to make sure we're the perfect fit for one another. Grab a cup of coffee, a la croix or whatever tickles your fancy, and let’s talk!

After our discovery call you'll receive a proposal with all of the collection details. Once the contract is signed and the $300 session fee is sent, your due date is officially in INK on my calendar!
Make it official!
We will then start planning for your maternity session and look at schedules when you are between 32-37 weeks. We will aim for sunset to get that true pregnancy 'glow' !
Maternal Instincts
When the baby decides on a birthday you'll want to let me know when you're at the hospital or just coming home so we can get your newborn session on the calendar! We aim for the first month but timing flexible based on baby and mama's needs!
It's time!
The day of our session will be the easy part because I will send over a prep guide to help get everything coordinated, and we can work together as little or as much as needed on outfits and home decor advice! We go at the baby's pace which normally lasts 1-2 hours!

See the collections
Your photos will be hand edited and made into a slideshow via an online gallery within about two weeks of your session. Grab some popcorn and tissues as you'll want to be ready to watch it unfold. After watching no less than 600 times, you can purchase one of three collections and your gallery and store will be open and ready for sharing! Collections start at $475.
